Grande Fête de la Francophonie
La Maison Française Perhaps the most eagerly-anticipated event during the Month of Francophonie, the Grande Fête is an invitation to travel the continents of the world in one night: each year, more than thirty five embassies unite to present their culture and cuisine to an enthusiastic public, accompanied by the sound of a special concert by an artist from the French-speaking world. From 7pm to 10pm, visit each and every table to sample the countries' foods and beverages and admire their arts and crafts.
Bastian Baker quickly rose to fame when his hit single ‘Lucky’, smashed the Swiss charts in early 2011. His first album, ‘Tomorrow May Not Be Better’, was so successful that it became a Gold record in under four months. Since then, he has won numerous awards, opened for bands, and gone on his own successful tour. His songs are great mixture of pop-folk and sometimes rock sounds. From 10pm, we'll crank up the volume to let our guests take over the dance floor and drinks will be up for sale at the cash bar (cash only please). NO TICKETS SOLD AT THE DOOR!!! General admission tickets: $38 (SOLD OUT)
